Box Pleats

Box pleats are made when two equal folds of fabric are folded away from each other in opposite directions on the front of a length of fabric. The box pleats can make open-end pleats and are popularly used for both uniforms, in fashion and in lamp designs.

 

 

- Fabric width is no more than 1520 mm (60 in); fabric length is unlimited.

 

- The width of each pleat fold is 5 mm-25 mm.

 

- The depth of each pleat fold is 2.5-12.5 mm.
